How Gymnassy works for organisers, clubs and judges.
What do I need to organise a tournament with Gymnassy?
Just an organiser account. You create the tournament, choose the categories from the catalogue and open entries. Clubs enter themselves through their portal, and Gymnassy takes care of the rest: starting order, judges, scoring and results.
How is the schedule built?
You place the categories in the schedule as you like, by dragging them, and add as many breaks as you want. The starting order draw is automatic and Gymnassy works out each gymnast's performance time. If there are withdrawals or new entries, it updates without starting over.
Which federations does it work with?
With the Spanish federation (RFEG) and the regional federations of Madrid (FMG), Andalusia (FAG), Valencia (FGCV) and Catalonia (GimCat). It also supports categories under the FIG Code of Points and custom categories for your own tournaments.
How much does it cost?
Your first tournament is free. After that it depends on the size of the tournament; the packages are on the
Pricing page.
Do you provide the tablets? Is there any extra cost?
Yes, we bring the tablets for the judges. There is no extra cost, only transport.
How does digital scoring work?
Each judge scores on a tablet, with their panel's score sheet (Difficulty, Execution, Artistry or Responsible judge) and the category's requirements already loaded. They write just as they would on paper, and the sheet adds up and applies the penalties by itself. If something doesn't look right, they fix it there and then. When all the judges in the category have finished, Gymnassy publishes the ranking. Nobody has to add up by hand or copy marks into a spreadsheet.
What if we don't want digital scoring?
No problem. Gymnassy prepares printable PDF score sheets, one per participant, with their details already filled in (name, club, category and apparatus) and the up-to-date requirements for their category.
How do clubs enter their gymnasts and upload music?
Through the
club portal: they register their gymnasts and groups once, enter them in each tournament and upload the music for each routine.
Where can I see the starting order and the marks?
In each club's portal and on the tournament's public page: starting order by day and session, live results and, when the organiser allows it, the judges' score sheets with the breakdown of the mark.
